I AM NOT DEAD!

I am, in fact, alive! We had a great time in Kansas with our families. I wish I could visit more often, but the military doesn't pay that well! I guess it's all a part of the sacrifice for our country. I am thankful that we still live in the states. The way I look at every less than ideal situation is that it could ALWAYS be worse! God has also taught be a lot of valuable lessons over the past year. Tomorrow is Travis's anniversary of joining the Air Force. I am so proud of him and all that he has accomplished!

IT'S SO NICE TO BE "HOME"!!!

Travis & I are really enjoying being back in Kansas! It's extremely cold and there's still lots of snow with predictions of more to come tomorrow. I'm just trying to stay warm! My family has off school the rest of the week since it's so cold and more bad weather is coming. I'm sooo glad they get some extra days off while we're here. Travis is off hanging out with his brother and I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to upload pics to FB. They photo uploader is giving me fits! GRRR!!!! Oh well. We had a nice Christmas together and with my family on Jan. 2nd. We're celebrating Christmas with Travis's family this Saturday. I'm sure that will be fun! Monday is fast approaching though. I'm only looking forward to going home cuz we get to pick up our dog, but I am NOT looking forward to leaving our families behind. We'll be looking forward to April when Travis's sister and family are planning to visit! =)
