- I do NOT think it is nice or even right to be mean on someone's blog! (I don't speak from personal experience (because I think I have like 1 reader), but a few blogs I read occasionally have been plagued by this.) It's their blog for crying out loud. Let them be who they are without criticism/judgement!!! People like that are just plain JEALOUS!
- Recently I have had an obsession with watching movies that are a series of three. First there were the Ocean's, then there were the Rush Hours, then the Bourne trilogy. I think I am running out of options. (Well, of the ones I own.) I could watch all 3 Ice Age movies, but I'm not really up for animation right now.
- I'm a procrastinator. I KNOW I take after my dad. Here it is, shortly after 2am and I am STILL getting ready for company that will arrive around 6:30 this evening.
- I absolutely LOVE iced tea! I think if I had to pick one thing to drink for the rest of my life, that would be it! I'd miss bottled water though. Oh well.
- I had an awesome evening hanging out with my husband. We went to the mall in Woodbridge, then out to eat at Don Pablo's. I love Mexican food. I didn't realize how much til I moved away from my favorite Mexican restaurant in Kansas. Dos Reales, how I miss you!!! ='(

Random thoughts of the day...

I am reminded....
how blessed I am to be married to my best friend in the whole world. We had a great weekend just being together, enjoying many laughs as we prepare the house for his parents visit in a little over a week. I haven't laughed like that for a long time. Sometimes I get so caught up in life that I forget to laugh and just enjoy life. Lately I've been "depressed" about how far away my family and friends are. It's really, really hard being 1100 miles away from them, but then I remember that it's all a part of the sacrifice. My small sacrifice for my country. I am by no means putting myself on a pedestal. However, being a military spouse is not for the faint of heart. It's not always easy, but it's a good life. Sure it gets me down, but then I look UP. God is ALWAYS there. He's there when it's rough and He's there when everything is going splendidly! I need to post our testimony of God's steadfastness throughout our military experience, but that's for another day. For now I'll just say that I believe in the power of prayer. Psalm 55:22 (NLT) Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

Mmmm! Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese!
One of the best meals for winter!
Travis had his wisdom teeth removed earlier this week. He is starting to feel better. I understand his pain because I got mine removed 7 yrs. ago. It's not fun. =( It's starting to feel like spring here! That is definately exciting!!! I am so ready for t-shirt & flip flop weather. In a week & a half we are expecting company. My in-laws are flying in to visit for a few days. I sure hope the weather is nice while they are here so we can get out and go places. =)
